This 1,000 round case of .38 Special ammunition is ideal for CCW holders who are serious about developing and maintaining proficiency with their revolver. As part of the Speer Lawman series, these cartridges deliver the same recoil and trajectory as the more expensive Speer Gold Dot defensive ammunition, but fire more economical total metal jacket (TMJ) projectiles instead. TMJ bullets are particularly well suited to indoor shooting because they have no exposed lead and have a lower risk of releasing heavy metals into the air when the round is fired.
These cartridges are loaded in Lewiston, Idaho and use non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases. Each case contains 20 boxes of 50 rounds each; each round fires a light 125 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 863 feet per second.
Speer is an Idaho based manufacturer of bullets and loaded ammunition. CCI and Speer were both founded in the same town by members of the same family and today they operate as divisions of Vista Outdoor, one of the largest groups of firearms and ammunition brands in the world.
