.32 ACP is Pretty Good Too
This cartridge sports a 60 grain FTX projectile. A pillar of soft elastomer fills its hollow point, and serves to both protect the nose cavity from clogging en route to its target and initiate rapid expansion once it’s within. The FTX’s evenly layered jacket gives it great rotational stability as well. The ability to find its target and then destroy it — two good things for a self-defense bullet to provide.
A Critical Defense load’s brass casing is clad in nickel plating, so corrosion and jamming will be far less pressing issues. Its propellant is also treated to emit a duller flash, which will leave you still able to fire accurately after taking your first shot in the nighttime.
